Do I need a Parent or Guardian to sign lease ?
We need details for the Parent or Guardian for every lease, this is because they will take responsibility for any unpaid or damage during your tenancy.
Who can be a Guardian ?
Your Guardian can be any one with employment. Please note you can not act as your own Guardian.
When will I have to make my payments ?
Payment is due on the 1st of every month.
Do you offer any discounts ?
If you pay in 4 installments you get 5% off.
How can I make payment ?
You can make a payment using a credit or debit card, either by bank transfer.
What is included in the Rental bill ?
Rent includes prepaid electricity and water. Unlimited WiFi, Access to all social spaces.
Am I allowed guests to visit ?
No visitors allowed.
Is there an age limit for booking Accomodation for MyStudent SA ?
MyStudent SA need to be over 18 from the time of moving in. This is due to legally binding tenancy agreement that each person is required to sign before arrival.
How secure is the Accomodation ?
We have CCTV Security in and around each property, Electric fence around the property, biometric access control, permanent staff 24/7, 7 days a week.
What if something in my flat breaks ?
Please contract reception or talk to member of staff or send email to info@mystudentsa.co.za.
Can I have pet ?
Unfortunately, you are not allowed to keep a pet.
What happens if I don’t get on with my new flat mate ?
Report to the Resident manager or send email to info@mystudentsa.co.za
Can I receive post and parcels ?
Parcels can be delivered at the Student Affairs Office for collection by Students and a Collection book must be signed by both staff and resident.
Can I live with my friends ?
We are more than happy to accommodate groups as well as individuals. Let us know who you are planning to live with and we will do our best to accommodate you with the same students.
What security is used at My Student SA?
24hrs CCTV monitoring.
Can I let my parcels be delivered to my accomodation?
Yes, students must collect the parcel themself.
